1 tsp lemon juice
1 tbsp honey

Make a smooth paste of all the above ingredients.
Apply it all over hair from roots till ends and leave the paste on for 30 minutes.
Afterwards, wash your hair with a mild shampoo and conditioner.
Ingredients:
1 ripe banana blended
4 tbsp Coconut Oil

1 Egg
1 tsp Honey
1 tbsp coconut oil
Method:
Add an egg and a teaspoon of honey to coconut oil.
Massage well into hair and scalp and let the mask sit for an hour or two and then shampoo as usual.
2. AT HOME FOOT SOAK
An at-home foot soak is an easy way to relax your feet that work hard all day!
Below are the basics you need:
Tub. For each soak, you’ll want a bathtub, a large, shallow washbasin, or foot tub.
Towel. Have a towel, bath mat, or drying cloth nearby, too.
Time. Soak for 15 to 60 minutes.
Warm water. Have some additional hot water available to freshen up the water if you’re not using a bathtub.
Cool water. Finish each foot soak with a cool water rinse.
For Achy feet : Epsom Salt + Essential Oil (Peppermint/Lavender)
For Exfoliation : Epsom Salt + Lemon +Vinegar
For better circulation: Ginger + Essential Oil (Lemon/Lemongrass/Clary Sage)
To Moisture : Honey + Coconut Milk + Cinnamon
For Relaxation & Aromatherapy : Essential Oil + Epsom Salt + Dried flowers
3. HOME MANICURE/PEDICURE
You can readily get a mani pedi beginners kit online and start with the instructions. I prefer nail polish when doing it at home as its just easier to apply and remove too. Below are a few to checkout:
4. DIY FACE SCRUB
When you exfoliate regularly you help remove ingrained dirt, old dead skin, and improve the over all look of your face. When you scrub away the old flakey skin, you reveal a more soft and smooth looking skin.
Ingredients:
1 tablespoon brown sugar (the finer, the better)
1 tablespoon honey, preferably raw
Method:
Mix the brown sugar and honey together, and with clean fingertips, very gently apply the scrub to your face in small circular motions to aid in the exfoliation process without damaging the skin. Rinse with warm water and use a washcloth to remove any residual honey, if needed.
Ingredients:
1 tbsp used coffee grounds
1 tbsp oil (jojoba, olive or rosehip)
Method:
Talk about reduce, reuse, and recycle! Don’t throw away the used coffee grounds after making your morning brew. Just add 1 tablespoon of oil to them, and you’ve got a gentle, collagen-boosting scrub ready to go. Coffee scrubs (with added essential oil) are also great for cellulite-prone areas of the body.
Ingredients:
½ cup old-fashioned oats (uncooked)
Water
Method:
In a blender, pulse the dry oats until finely ground. Place a pinch of the ground oats into the palm of your hand, then add water until a paste forms. Gently massage into your face and neck. Store the ground oats in an airtight container for later use.
5. SLEEP WELL
Ladies, ladies, ladies! This is your time to catch up on all that beauty sleep your under eye bags have been begging you for. There’s nothing more refreshing for your skin and your eye area than a good night’s sleep. If you were someone that neglected getting a decent amount of shut eye time a night, there’s no better time than now to make sure you get your sleep schedule right. Your skin makes new collagen when you sleep, so getting enough Zzz’s helps you prevent wrinkles and get more plump skin. Not to mention, a glowing complexion thanks to no more sleep deprivation. What a win!
6. STAY HYDRATED
Now that you’re home, no excuses! Grab a water bottle and keep it right beside you while you’re working from home and keep filling it up throughout the day. Staying hydrated is so important for a glow up in quarantine.
7. MEDITATE
Meditation is a habitual process of training your mind to focus and redirect your thoughts. You can use it to increase awareness of yourself and your surroundings.
Meditation helps heal physical issues, helps you sleep, helps with anxiety, depression, and addiction, helps with conflict management, helps you appreciate simple things and makes you more creative. So why not start soon!
8. EAT HEALTHY AND STAY FIT
If you’re not putting the right things in your body, it’s hard to get that pretty glow. During this challenging time, it’s more important than ever to take care of ourselves. Building up and maintaining strong immunity is essential because we are especially vulnerable right now. You will find the healthier you eat, and try to stay fit the better you will feel. Our immune system and mood boosting serotonin is located in the digestive tract. And that is everything right now.
Thats all the tips I had to get you that glow internally as well as externally during this lockdown. If you like this post, pin it now and stay tuned for more!
