If you have been following me on insta or have read my blog before, you might know I came to the USA from India in 2014 to pursue my Masters In Stevens Institute Of Technology. Thats where I met my then boyfriend/now husband Nikhil.
Here goes our story – We met just around the first month of of school when he came over to our house with his roomies as they were project mates of my roomies then. Don’t want to go on and on on the nitty gritties but we started dating just a few months later – Walking to college together, exploring New York, studying together and finally…. graduating together!!! Was just a short 18 months time but so much fun

Just around this time – with graduation was also the time when………………. He proposed!!!! Yayy – Sorry don’t have pictures from then as it wasnt a big bang propose as we kinda took it slow until we talked to our parents and got engaged officially!!!
We got both engaged & married the same time like few days apart. This was Nov 2nd, 2017 – Our marriage Anniversary Now.
The wedding was a long 5-6 days with multiple functions and was just an incredible experience! Right after we went honeymooning -> To Maldives
We stayed in the hotel called “Taj-Vivanta”. Would definitely recommend if you plan to visit. Everything from their service, environment, food was just perfect!
We stayed there for 5 days and were back to USA soon after. Our first home together was definitely special. Celebrated our first anniversary in 2018 there!
And now, here we are here in our new place. Cant have found a better life partner than Nik! Love you!
